I have a couple of queries regarding tabulating.
1. Are we able to set tab stops at different intervals besides the default ones already set and if yes, how?
2. Is there anything that I can do that will speed up the tabbing process? e.g. the time it takes to go from one field to the next.
3. Is there anything that I can do that will make it clearer (when tabbing) where you are actually at in the form? e.g. making the 'Highlight Fields' option a default at the time of opening the document.

On my current project I would like to implement a customer form via Adobe Lifecycle Designer.
I'm going to ask a developer to implement the following logic:
There is a fixed rectangular area in the form. This area should represent a text.
In case of long text I would like to reduce the font size to fit the text into the area. It should look like that
Text alignment within the area is Horizontal Centered, Vertical Centered
Text wrap is on
Font is Arial, initial size is 10
Is it possible to implement?

I'm new to Acrobat and LiveCycle Designer. I have just created my first form with fillable fields in LifeCycle to send to my company's clients for them to fill out, save the form with their responses in the fields for their own records, and then attach the completed PDF form to an email to send back to us with their responses in the fields. I cannot figure out how to do this. The closest I can come to this is putting a "Submit by Email" button in the form which generates and sends an XML document which is not what I'm looking for; I need the actual filled PDF form sent back to me from the client.
I'm sure this is an easy task, but I have been unsuccessful with figuring this out on my own or finding a post in the forum which clearly answers my questions.
I'm using Acrobat 9 Pro and LiveCycle Designer ES version 8
Can you help me? I'm lost.

With much help from here in the past (thank you!), we've been using a form with a custom submit button, and I'm needing to add a cc. I did add a var vCC = first.last@email.com, but no luck in placing it within this event properly. What is the right way to add an additional cc? Thank you!

I'm sure this is a dumb question, but I continually find that my form pages are outside of the normal print margins for a standard 8.5in x 11in paper. So far the only solution I have found is to select "Pagearea1" underneath "Master Page" and change the 'Paper Type' to 'Letter'. This seems to set the correct page width/height, but I have a concern about margins, I want to be sure the form always prints correctly regardless of the users printer settings. Is there a way to also set a margin? Also, is there a better way to do this or is the method I described the correct way?

I'm trying to integrate a very simple live form made with DESIGNER ES3,in my joomla 3.2 site.
The problem is the form is well showed only by internet explorer.

Of course i've tried to update the reader plugin in every browser,sent to other people to check whit 'em.
But nothing...same result
I got the whole cs6 installed,adobe acrobat XI,adobe reader XI,and livecycle designer ES3 and all the browsers i used for the test are up to date
I haven't found on the net other user that have the same compatibility issue,it seems weird.
I just save the form as a dinamyc pdf and then link it whit a classic anchor in a joomla's article.
There's something i can do,to improve the compatibility of this kind of document?
Am I doing something wrong?

I have a button on a PDF form which emails a PDF and XML attachment of the current form in two seperate emails. The code is as follows:

This results in 2 seperate emails, when all I need is a single email with two attachments. Is there a way to do this?
I have two company logos on the top of my form. When the user selectes which company they are located at, the cooresponding logo become visible. Unfortunitly, because the images are set to global binding (so they appear on each page) the image data exports to my spreadsheet. How can I have the user select a company location and have that image (logo) become visible, repeat on every page but not export the image data?
i created a 17 page fillable form using livecycle 8.2 now i want to add a watermark and kee
p it as a form. however, i get a message " You do not have sufficient permissions to perform this task
" how can i give myself permission so i may add the watermark?"
I have my subform and it's all set to flow with page breaks. The first 3 work great. #4. works but only insomuch as it prints OFF the page instead of going onto the next page.
Also, #5 disappears. It's not being printed over, it's just not there.
Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

LiveCycle keeps telling me that form objects are using features not available in the target version, and I should review details in the Report palette. Every bit of online help I can find tells me that I can open the Report palette using the Report palette menu button, but I can't find a Report palette menu button anywhere on my interface. It's probably right under my nose, but it's eluding me very effectively.

I am aware that similar questions have been asked in the past but I am not able to find any definite answer. And, I may have a slightly different (easier) requirement, so I thought of raising this question again.
I have a Dynamic XFA form created using LiveCycle Designer. I have used XSD binding and at runtime, in Java, using some third party utility I fill in the XML data adhering to the XSD in this Dynamic form. So the result is a filled PDF document (pretty much static) which looks like any other read only PDF document. But, as at the core it is a XFA document, I am not able to concatenate it with other such resulting PDF document. No third party library is able to handle it and the reason may be the fact that they are internally dealing with XML rather than a standard PDF.
So to be specific : I need to find some Java based solution as I do not have a way to do it using LiveCycle or any Desktop based tool. And I need to concatenate two Dynamic XFA documents which have been filled out and saved as x.pdf and y.pdf on a disk. They look and feel like any standard PDF documents.
What are my options? Does Adobe have any Java APIs for this purpose? I am looking for some cost effective solution though as we can not afford to buy a full enterprise suite for this purpose.
Any help or pointers are much appreciated.

For some reason when I try to e-mail my form when I hit the submit by e-mail button in the Send Form that pops up the e-mail address that the form is supposed to be sent to is different than what I have set it up to be on the form. I have tried creating the e-mail submit button using the e-mail button from the standard library and by using a regular button and changing it to a submit button, but it does not make a difference.
Can anyone tell me how to get it to not change the e-mail address when I try to submit my form? The e-mail address I have entered it to be sent to is: tamara@psychologistsassociation.ab.ca but when I go to submit when testing my form it adds an "a" onto the end of association so the e-mail address is changed to: tamara@psycholoigstsassocationa.ab.ca
this means that when I submit it the form does not go to my inbox because the email address is wrong, even though the e-mail address is entered correctly in the Object palette in LiveCycle Designer.

I've created a form in livecycle and I want the security to be set up as such:
1) A password is required to edit the form in LiveCycle AND
2) People can print the pdf to "Adobe PDF"
I've been able to create livecycle password access, but when I put a password on the LiveCycle Access (currently: Printing Allowed: High resolution, Changes Allowed: Filling in form fields and signing existing signature fields), I get this error when I try to print it to PDF:

Hi, I have a form that was designed in Live Cycle ES 8 and it is filled in by users in adobe reader. There are
specific fields that are filled in that I want to export into an excel format but I can't seem to do that. Have tried doing this from Adobe Pro. I can't even select the contents of more than one field at a time. When I use the >File > Export option it doesn't export the field contents or at least I can't see them. Does this have something to do with the way the form is designed? (ie. does that functionality need to be built into the form?) Any assistance is appreciated.
